A bi-weekly box of 6 to 9 freshly harvested, certified organic, vibrant vegetables packed for you.  Our harvest list varies week to week and is made up of vegetables that are at their peak for quality and flavor in the field.  Your share will come pre-packed in a reusable box or bag.

A weekly newsletter with notes from the field, photos, recipes, and tips for food storage + processing, plus our encouragement and some inspiration to try the less common vegetables offered that week.  We often hear the newsletter is one of our members’ surprise favorite parts of the CSA!

Optional add-ons include eggs from Sparkplug Farm (for MA members only) and wild Maine blueberries from Blue Hill Berry Co.

An investment in young farmers and local agriculture.  When you join our CSA, you become part of our farm community that believes in being good stewards of the land, maintaining open and working landscapes, building healthy soil, and sustainable farming.  Your dollars are being put to work building your local foodshed.

Our wonderful host sites in 2026 are:

OLD LYME, CT / Four Mile River Farm

SUDBURY, MA / Berkshire Hathaway

Our boxed CSA comes in one size:

FULL shares / $485 / 6-9 items per week

This share is distributed every other week!

What is Community Supported Agriculture?

CSA is a mutualistic model meant to support both grower + eater. The CSA is a commitment to support the farm over the growing season: it provides both much needed financial support early in the year and consistent, weekly availability of the freshest produce available. Due to the nature of CSA, members receive a higher value for their dollars spent than at a grocery store — meaning more veggies + higher quality!

How does the CSA work?

CSAs are distributed once every other week beginning in early June (or late May if the growing is good!). We harvest each item fresh, based on when it’s at peak for flavor and quality. When you sign up, you will have the choice of several pick-up locations and their corresponding time frames. Each week, you will come to the pick up location you selected and grab your bag, leaving behind last week’s empty bag.

We offer a 10 week share beginning early June (or late May) that will run until mid-October.  Members pick up all 10 weeks out of the distro schedule.

Where do I get my share?

Pick ups are on Thursdays. Your share must be picked up before x pm at all locations. We offer these pick up locations:

OLD LYME, CT / Four Mile River Farm: 124 Four Mile River Rd.

SUDBURY, MA / Berkshire Hathaway Realty: 400 Boston Post Rd.

What’s in the share?

We grow over 60 varieties of vegetables, plus flowers and herbs on our 4 acre farm. We plan for a wide variety throughout the year, which shifts as different crops come in/out of their peak seasons. You can expect to see some greens every week, an allium, a root, plus seasonal specialties like sugar snap peas, tomatoes, peppers, and squash as each crop comes into its own harvest season.

What sizes are available?

BOX SHARES are intended as enough food for 1 to 3 veg-loving people, or a small household that cooks most nights of the week. 6-8 items per week.

How much does a share cost?

The box share costs $485 for 10 weeks, distributed every other week.

Shares can be split between you and a friend, coworker, neighbor or family member! We encourage you to split a share if you think the share is too much on your own.

Can I pay with SNAP/EBT for my share?

Definitely! Shares paid for by SNAP are billed 1x monthly June — October via online EBT payment. Sign up now to reserve your spot, and pay once per month once the CSA schedule begins. Shares cost $85 per month.

How does payment work?

Payments may be made in full or in two payments. We must receive your first payment within 14 days of signing up to hold your spot. You may pay by check or card. Checks are strongly preferred whenever possible.

Payment plans: We require first payments of 50% of the cost of the share . The second payments is due by June 1. Please note that we are only able to accept cash or checks for payment plans at this time.

We really believe fresh food is for everyone: please email us at newspokefarm@gmail.com if these payment options are prohibitive for you. We can usually work out alternative payment plans together. We have no-questions-asked free and low-cost shares available in 2026 on a first-come, first-served basis.
