2026 CSA Renewal

Join us for another season of fresh farm vegetables! Sign up now through Nov. 1 to get the best price and reserve your spot.

OUR GOALS & WHAT TO LOOK FOR DURING GROWING YEAR 2026:

  • We are increasing our acreage from 2 acres to about 4 — we’re doubling our field space! We are eager to add new things to the plan such as: organic sweet corn! more winter squash! melons and more! More space also gives us the ability to dial in our crop plan and fine-tune our planting sizes.

  • Indoor CSA pick up at most locations!! Your CSA membership is an investment in the farm, and we’re investing that back into CSA — we have long wanted to offer indoor pick ups for convenience and ease especially in bad weather. We are working on creating some indoor space at both the farm and Lambs/Night Moves, and we’ll be on a covered porch at Old Town House in North Yarmouth.

  • PASTURED CHICKEN! We are gauging interest in a pre-order run of our first ever organic chicken. Ross has many years of experience and we are excited to trial one round in 2026. Pricing and info coming soon dependent on interest; click the box on your sign up if you’d be interested in pre-ordering chicken from the farm next year.

  • Expect all the same flexibility of years past: continued free choice, pick up your share at any location during the week, and feel free to switch week-to-week as needed.

WANT TO GROW WITH US FOR THE LONG HAUL?

We’re offering three year farm shares as an opportunity to lock in the price of your share for three years; your investment in the farm this way has a huge impact!

CSA renewal is closed for the fall. We’ll reopen for 2026 registration in January!

What is Community Supported Agriculture?

CSA is a mutualistic model meant to support both grower + eater. The CSA is a commitment to support the farm over the growing season: it provides both much needed financial support early in the year and consistent, weekly availability of the freshest produce available. Due to the nature of CSA, members receive a higher value for their dollars spent than at a grocery store — meaning more veggies + higher quality!

How does the CSA work?

CSAs are distributed once per week beginning in early June (or late May if the growing is good!). We harvest each item fresh, based on when it’s at peak for flavor and quality. When you sign up, you will have the choice of several pick-up locations and their corresponding time frames. Each week, you will choose your produce based on the item count that corresponds with your share size from our market-style set up.

We offer an 18 week share beginning early June (or late May) that will run until mid-October.  Members pick up 18 weeks out of a 22 week distro schedule.   Members will have 2 built in ‘skip’ weeks that allow for any 2 weeks of your choosing off from the share - that way you never miss the produce you pay for!  The farm will also take 2 weeks off from distro, so there will be 2 weeks throughout the season with NO distribution at any location.  These dates will be determined this winter.

Where do I get my share?

We offer these pick up options:

WEST PARIS / TUESDAYS, 4-6 @ New Spoke Farm: 90 Stearns Hill Rd.

NORTH YARMOUTH / TUESDAYS, 4-6 @ Old Town House: 475 Walnut Hill Rd.

SOUTH PORTLAND / SATURDAYS, 9-12 @ Night Moves Bread: 695 Broadway St.

What’s in the share?

We grow over 60 varieties of vegetables, plus flowers and herbs on our farm. We plan for a wide variety throughout the year, which shifts as different crops come in/out of their peak seasons. You can expect to see several options for greens every week, an allium, a root, plus seasonal specialties like sugar snap peas, tomatoes, peppers, and squash as each crop comes into its own harvest season.

What sizes are available?

FULL SHARES are intended as enough food for 1 to 2 veg-loving individuals, or a small household who cook several nights of the week. 6-8 items per week typically.

LARGE SHARES are intended for larger households made up of 3+ individuals who cook frequently, or 2 individuals who eat a lot of vegetables/with every meal. 8-10 items per week typically.

HALF SHARES are intended to offer enough food for 1 individual, or a small household that cooks a few times a week. A good complement to a garden or if you are trying to eat more veggies. 4-6 items per week typically.

How much does a share cost?

FULL SHARE = $675 for 6 - 8+ items per week for 18 weeks.

LARGE SHARE = $775 for 8 - 10+ items per week for 18 weeks.

HALF SHARE = $425 for 4 -6+ items per week for 18 weeks.

Shares can be split between you and a friend, coworker, neighbor or family member! We encourage you to split a share if you think the share is too much on your own.

How does payment work?

Payments may be made in full or in installments outlined here. We must receive your first payment within 14 days of signing up to hold your spot. You may pay by check or card.

Payment plans: We require payments of 50% of the cost of the share for renewals. Second 50% payment due by February 1, 2026. Please note that we are only able to accept cash or checks for payment plans at this time.

SNAP & Maine Harvest Bucks: We take SNAP for CSA shares! Shares paid for by SNAP are billed 1x monthly June — October via online EBT payment. Sign up now to reserve your spot, and pay once per month once the CSA schedule begins. Maine Harvest Bucks funding for 50% cost share is TBD for 2026 at this time.

We really believe fresh food is for everyone: please email us at newspokefarm@gmail.com if these payment options are prohibitive for you. We can usually work out alternative payment plans together.
